DEATH OF MRS. NELLIE STEWART
Passed Away at Her Home on Binford Street Sunday After Long Illness
Sunday afternoon at 2:45 O'clock at her home, 500 Binford street, occurred the death of Mrs. Nellie Stewart after an illness of three months caused by cancer of the stomach and liver.
Mrs. Stewart was born in Crawfordsville, March 22, 1866, and was the daughter of William and Miranda Hutchinson. She was married to W. C. Stewart, of Darlington, April 7, 1889, and to the union was born two children, Helen B. and Oral C., both of whom survive. Mrs. Stewart is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Miranda Hutchinson, with whom she resided, and two brothers and one sister, Walter Hutchinson, of Springfield, Ill.; Howard Hutchinson, of Indianapolis, and Mattie Hutchinson, of this city. Mrs. Stewart has been a member of the Christian church for 21 years.
The funeral will occur from the home Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. J. Frederick Rake. Interment at Greenlawn cemetery at Darlington.
