Mr. Douglas was married to Oma McLellan Feb. 17, 1931 in Chickasha. He was a farmer in Tuttle from 1930 to 1950. He was an active member in the First Baptist Church, Tuttle, as a deacon and a choir leader. He worked for Transcon Freight Lines from 1952 until retiring in 1975. Mr. Douglas was an active member of the Dumas Ave. Baptist Church, OKC.
He was preceded in death by 1 son, George Douglas and 2 daughters, Barbara & Patrica Ann; 3 brothers & 1 sister.
Survived by his wife, Oma of the home; 1 son, Bill Douglas of Moore OK; 1 grandson, Steven Douglas of Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of the Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Okla, 4500 Lincoln Blvd, OKC, OK 73105. The casket will be closed at the service.
