Guy was the son of Harvey Henry Bradley and Lillian 'Lilly' Belle Lawver Bradley. He was born in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. His father was a pastor that covered many smaller churches in the NW part of Pennsylvania, so the family traveled around quite a bit. His parents were divorced in Oct of 1905 however and by the 1910 census Guy was living with a family as a hired boy. In 1912 Guy was living near his mother and some of his siblings in Titusville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania and was working as a laborer. On or about July 7, 1918 he married Elizabeth E Adams in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania. By October 18th, 1918 Guy had contracted the Spanish Flu and died 6 days later of Influenza and Pneumonia. His cousin Phoebie Bradley died the following day also from Influenza and Pneumonia.
