Mr. Lemming, 69, died Nov. 23, 2001, in Colorado Springs. He served in the Army for 29 years in Korea and Vietnam, attaining the rank of master sergeant. He was a parts department employee with Academy Ford for several years. Mr. Lemming was born Aug. 2, 1932, in Atlanta to William B. and Dell Louise (George) Lemming, who are deceased. He was married Jan. 27, 1950, to Sarah Louise Weatherly, who is deceased. He is survived by a son, William B. Jr.; a daughter, Janeil Walter; three sisters, Jane Wood, Ivy Newman and Ann Hardee; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank, and a sister, Mary Cooper. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., 471-9900. A service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Swan Law Cascade Chapel. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver.
