Sudan Farmer Buried Monday

Sudan, Jan. 17

Funeral services were conducted yesterday for William H. White, 63, Sudan farmer who died of a heart attack Monday in a Littlefield hospital.

Services were conducted in the Sudan Methodist Church with Rev. R. N. Huckabee of Muleshoe officiating. Burial was in Sudan Cemetery. Mr. White was born in Winfield, Kas., and came to Texas in 1913, settling in Floyd County. He came to Sudan community in 1928.

Active In church

In 1912 Mr. White became a member of the Methodist Church, in which he was a steward, Sunday school teacher and choir director.

Surviving are the widow; five sons, Claude A. of 1810 Avenue R, Lubbock, William Ralph of Hereford, J. Earl of Dexter, N.M., Hugh W. of Hereford, and Raymond C. of Sudan; four daughters, Mrs. R. D. Nix of Sudan, Mrs. H. E. Nix of Hale Center, Eunice Gibson of 1306 Ave N, Lubbock, and Mrs. T. P. Jones of Littlefield; two sisters, Mrs. W. J. Calvin and Mrs. H. W. Curiman of Winfield, Kas.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted yesterday for William H. White, 63, Sudan farmer who died of a heart attack Monday in a Littlefield hospital.
