Patsy was a wonderful woman. She was the mother of my best friend and I turned to for advice on everything a teenage girl could think of. She was always there to listen and she never judged she never laughed and she always seemed to understand. She had a ready smile for everyone.
Patsy had seen hard times in her life and she was to be admired for never giving up. She had finally gotten her life where she wanted it to be and was due to be married to her long time love just a month from the time she passed.
What the newspapers left out was that Patsy was killed in automobile accident caused by a drunk driver. Patsy was one mile from her home when a drunk driver lost control of his car and crashed into her head on.
Patsy is sorely missed by all who knew her. She was a bright and shining light that was taken from us far too soon.
"I know your life on Earth was troubled,
Only you could know the pain,
You weren't afraid to face the devil,
You were no stranger to the rain,
SO go rest high on that mountain,
'Cause your work on Earth is done,
Go to Heaven a'shoutin love for the Father and the Son..."
