Jennieve Virginia King, 85, of Heathsville, died February 22, 1999. She was the widower of Earl Richard King, Sr., and a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters Helen Marie Gordon of Reedville and Betty K. Appleby of Heathsville; three half-sisters, Doris Bryant of Callao, Mary Dean Lowery of Lottsburg, and Alice Dellbridge of Richmond. Ten Grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held February 25, at New Friendship Baptist Church, Burgess, with Rev. Robert Kinsey officiating. Interment was in Totuskey Baptist Church Cemetery, Haynesville. Pallbearers were Kenny King, Mark King, Phil Appleby, John Leggett, Jr., Curtis (Joe) Gordon, Jr., Glenn Clarke, Brian Clark, and Danny Clarke.
