He was the son of Henry J. and Amanda Jane (Gross) Cannon. Gerald married Imogene Owens in Miami, Oklahoma and was a brick mason. He was a member of the Church of God and enjoyed eating out, fishing, spending time with his family and loved to talk about the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and sisters, Kenneth Cannon, Opal Crabtree, Hazel McFarland and Cleathal Butler and one granddaughter, Amelia Evelyn Johnson. Gerald is survived by his wife, Imogene, of the home; his children, Jarred Cannon Johnson of Tulsa, Brenda Cannon Kennan of Arkansas and Larry Cannon of Missouri; stepson, Chris Larch of Wagoner; stepdaughter, Melinda Larch Fisher of Wagoner; seven grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 10, 2007, in the Church of God with the Reverends Carl Murphy and Jack Carey officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
