Mrs. Anita Galvagni Foley, 63, of 103 Lincoln St. died yesterday at the Berkshire Medical Center after a long illness.
She was the widow of Harold F. Foley(they were divorced), who died in 1960, and had been employed for many years as a waitress at the former Brass Rail and Majestic restaurants. More recently she was a private-duty nurses aide.
Born in Lime Rock, Conn., she was the daughter of the late George and Dominica Tiloni Galvagni, and attended schools in that community. She spent most of her life in Pittsfield.
Mrs. Foley was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Harold F. Foley, Jr. of Syracuse, N.Y.; three daughters, Miss Anita Foley of Pittsfield, Mrs. Rita Reed of Pittsfield and Mrs. Patricia Kolbosook of Syracuse; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Pozza of Dover Plain, N.Y., Mrs. Rose Arsenault of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs. Emma Pullano of Albuquerque, N.M., and Mrs. Aline Love of Becket; seven grand-children and two great-grand-children.
Calling hours at the Devanny Funeral Home will be from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow. Funeral services will be held Monday at 8:15 at the Devanny Funeral Home and at 9 at St. Joseph's Church with a Liturgy of Christian Burial. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
