Harry Long was born in Manheim, Lancaster Co, Pa. He married Margaret "Maggie" I. Breneman on 20 June 1876 in Lancaster. Harry was a stone mason with the Pa. Railroad retiring 1 January 1927 with over 25 years service.

HARRY R. LONG, seventy-eight, died Monday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, at his home 720 South Queen Street, of a complication of diseases. He was a member of the Church of God and of Martin Luther Commandery, K. of M. He was a retired stone mason and employed for many years on the Pennsylvania Railroad. He is survived by three children, Frank H., Elsie, wife of Clayton W. Lefever and Mrs. Helen R. Rodgers, all of this city; and these brothers and sister: George M., Mrs. Ida George, Will D.D., all of this city and Mrs. Emma Reed, Milton, Delaware, also four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment will be in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call at the home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
