Mrs. Minnie Mooney Brantley, 79, of Crossett, Arkansas, mother of Mrs. A. T. Wooldridge of Ruston, died early Tuesday at Crossett Hospital.
A native of Cosiasko, Mississippi, she had lived in Crossett over 60 years. She was the widow of the late Elmer H. Brantley.
Besides Mrs. Wooldrige of Ruston, she is survived by seven other daughters, Mrs. Ora Terry, Bastrop, Mrs. Sarrah Wright, LaPlace, Mrs. Dorothy Cassels, Miami, Fla., Mrs. Lillie Roberts, Mrs. Maude Gardner, Mrs. Dovie Hendrix, and Mrs. Doris White all of Crossett; three sons Dan, Carroll, and Travis all of Crossett; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Malloy of Crossett and Mrs. Clennie Long of West Monroe; one brother, Claude Mooney of Little Rock, Arkansas; 34 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olive Baptist church of North Crossett where she was a member with Rev. J. W. Buckner and Rev. Walter Braswell officiating. Burial followed in Sims Cemetery under direction of Jones funeral home.
