"Our Baby, Sharon Jean Odom"

The little empty bassinet
Prepared by mother's hands
With loving care and happiness,
For a baby tht has gone to a distant land.

Little Sharon Jean we know
You have a better home than ours
Your little bed is made by one
Who's love is greater than ours.

Just a little mound of earth
So tiny to be a grave
Oh how can we render to soon to God,
The beautiful gift He gave.

Our hears are near breaking
For thy voice we shall no hear
Your clinging arms around our necks
We shall miss those blessings dear.

You have missed the tears and heart aches
Of this world you will not know
Would we bring you back
For its sorrow and strife, Oh No.

Our Lord is good, His gifts are great
He gives and He takes away
He knows best for His children,
Shis will we must obey.
