Born on October 2, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Rosa Riportella.
Aunt Mary, as she was affectionately known by her many nieces and nephews, enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by a sister-in-law with whom she lived, Mary Riportella of Middletown; nieces and nephews, Rose and Michael Cunningham and Anthony and Vita Clemente; great nieces and nephews, Dana and Bill, Jennifer and Peter and Kristie and Willie; and great-great nieces and nephew, Kayla, Brianna and Peter.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm on Friday, December 12 at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad Street, Middletown, DE where family and friends may visit one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Forest Cemetery in Middletown, DE.
