De'Angelo Keshine Wilson an aspiring talented actor, singer and performer was a native of Dayton, Ohio. He was a young man with a promising career and a gentle soul and a smile that would melt your heart. He grew up in poverty in Dayton, living in foster homes.

He started his acting career in Florida at Walt Disney World where he performed as many of the Disney characters. He then realized how important an education was and moved back to Dayton where he joined the Job Corps which he completed in Cleveland, along with his GED. In the fall of 1999 he enrolled in the University of Cincinnati.

De'Angelo, then transferred to Kent State University in Ohio and was accepted into the School of Theatre and Dance to study acting. In 2002 he wrote, produced and starred in a one man show at Kent State called "Impressions" based on his life growing up in Dayton.

In 2001 while still at Kent State he landed a role in the movie 8 Mile starring Eminem and Mekhi Phifer. Shortly after that he landed another great part in Denzel Washington's directorial debut, "Antwone Fisher." His other film credits included "Mercy Street", The Salon, CSI: NY and Outside Man to name a few.

De'Angelo was found hanged in Los Angeles On Nov. 26, 2008, an apparent suicide. His friends paid to have his remains flown back to Dayton for a funeral held on December 17th. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Born March 29, 1979 in Dayton, Ohio, DeAngelo attended Dunbar High School and was a theater major at Kent State University. He played key roles in numerous movies and TV shows. DeAngelo is preceded in death by his sister Vaniesa S Davis Wilson. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Debra Ann Wilson, father Willie Petty Sr; Maternal grandmother Katherine Jackson, 10 brothers Carlos, Clifford, Donald, KeShaun, Charles Wilson, Willie Jr, James Sr, Olander, Kevin, Petty, and Sam Bridges; 8 sisters Thyra, Catherine Wilson, Floria, Georgianna, Dorothy, Willie Ann, Jackie and Kiara Petty. Special friend Nicole Sheperd. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. Services will be held at The House of Wheat Funeral Home, Wednesday, Nov 17, 2008 at 1:00PM, 2107 North Gettysburg Ave. Rev Reno Piner officiating interment. Family will receive friends at 10AM.
