Bardstown - John T. Mudd, 44, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at his residence. He was born April 11, 1964 in Lebanon, owner of Joseph Thomas True Candles and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fredericktown.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Isabelle Hamilton; and paternal grandparents, Leo and Bernadette Mudd. He is survived by his parents, Buddy and Ann Mudd of Bardstown; brother David (Joanie) Mudd of Bardstown; four sisters, Patricia Mudd , Mary Ann (Tommy) Downs both of Bardstown, Sally (Pat) McLaughlin of Franklin, Tennessee and Jenny (David) Neel of Bardstown; maternal grandfather, Richard S. Hamilton of Bardstown; special friend, Kevin Spalding of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday December 12, 2008 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Rev. Christopher Allegra will officiate. His visitation will be 28 p.m. Thursday and 810 a.m. Friday at Barlow Funeral Home. His prayer service will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday with Deacon John Hamilton. Memorial contributions may go to Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
