Robert R. Kibbie
Robert R. Kibbie, 52 died Monday night at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. He was ill 5 1/2 weeks.
He was manager of Fabrication Inspection at Rockwell-Collins in Cedar Rapids for 34 years. From 1974 to 1986 he was city clerk of Shellsburg, and for many years before 1974 he was on the Shellsburg City Council. He also was retired from the Shellsburg Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Marie; three daughters, Deanna Lipcamon and Janelle Kibbie, both of Shellsburg, and Shari Blattler of Fort Worth, Texas; a son, Robert R. Jr of Shellsburg, father and stepmother, Richrd and Kathleen Kibbie of Shellsburg; a brother, J. Edward of Palo; a sister, Karolynn Roehr of Shellsburg; Five grandchildren.
Services: 2 pm Thursday at Shellsburg Presbyterian Church. Burial: Oakwood Cemetery
