Opal Lucille Carrick Bristow, 76, a resident of Dover, died Sunday, May 29, 2005, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born March 5, 1929, at Vilonia, Oregon to Clyde and Viola Carrick. She was an Evangelical Christian and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles Bristow; and a sister, Francis Harris.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Marion A. "Pete" Bristow of Dover; a daughter and son-in-law, Gayle Lucille and Tony Rome of Mitchell, Oregon; two brothers, George and Larry Carrick both of Oregon; four sisters, Barbara Dicason, Margaret Baisch, Wanda Gage, and Ida May Thomas all of Oregon; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

A family conducted graveside memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2005, at Tarlton Cemetery at Lurton officiated by the Rev. Jackie Pledger and the Rev. Stanley Taylor.

Arrangements were under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
