Shellsburg. Jan. 28- Special funeral services for Mrs. Vernon Harger were held Monday afternoon at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burt Sheehy. Rev. C.E. Lafayette Hoff of Cedar Rapids conducted the services. assisted by Rev. C.E. Bryden. Interment was in Oakwood.
Linnett Shehy was born in Linn county and was 25 years of age. On July 1, 1915, she was united in marrage to Vernon Hager. They moved to Cedar Rapids, where Mr. Harger is employed by George T Hedges & Co. The past eighteen months Mr. and Mrs. Harger were in Detroit and Washington, D.C. where Mr. Harger was in the government service. Death was due to influenza. The deceased joined the Parker's Grove Baptist Church in early girlhood and later transferred her membership to (I can't read it(Second) ) Christian Church in Cedar Rapids.
