Michael Luke Allen, 45, passed from this life and entered life everlasting on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Shannon Rose Hill.
Michael was born Aug. 3, 1963, in Fort Worth to the Rev. Luther and Rachel Allen. He graduated from LeTourneau University in Longview in 1993 with a degree in business management. He was employed at Lockheed Martin for 22 years. Michael was a charter member of Avenue L Baptist Church in Fort Worth. He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle and had a giving spirit.
The family wishes to offer a special thank-you to the host of family and friends that was near and dear to his heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Luther Allen, in 1986.
Survivors: The highlight of his life, daughter, Debra Allen; mother, Rachel Allen; brothers, Gary Allen and the Rev. David Lee Allen and wife, Debra; numerous nieces and nephews, including best friend, Tony Flores and wife, Patti.
