A private memorial service for Gordon Lush, of Sontag, will be held. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be held by the family at a later date.
Mr. Lush, 64, died Dec. 5, 2008, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on June 28, 1944, to William Lush and Mildred Lush.
He was a communications tech for Shell Pipeline. He attended Shiloh Baptist Church. He was in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his granddaughter,
Megan Erin Bass and great-grandson Benjamin Micheal Bass.
Survivors are his wife, Nan Ray Farris Lush; his sons, Sam Lush, of Arkansas, John Lush, of Tennessee, and Kevin Lush, of Sontag; his daughters, Margaret Lush Tyson, of North Carolina, Nan Ray Lush Nations and Michelle Lush Reynolds, both of Sontag; his brother, Robert Lush, of Sontag; his sister, Vi Horschack, of New Jersey; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
