Graveside services for Alice Quanda Lanier were held Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery Gazebo.
Alice Quarida Lanier was born September 11,1945 in Whitesboro, Oklahoma to Russ and Eva (Green) Keck. She passed away Thursday, September 11,2008 at her home in Okemah at the age of 63.
Ms. Lanier had been a resident of the Okemah area for the past 28 years. She managed the Circle G Motel in Okemah for more than 20 years and also worked in the home health field. Ms. Lanier enjoyed sewing, quilting, fishing with her grandkids. She loved her grandkids very much.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 6 sisters, one brother, and one grandson.
She is survived by her three daughters, Valarie Young of Okemah, Kandee Lanier of Okemah and Natasha Lanier of Okemah; also 4 grandchildren, Jeffrey Young of St. Lois, Missouri, Ariman 1st Class Tyler W. Lanier of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Russell Lanier of Okemah, and Cameron Dobrinski of Okemah.
Services under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Okemah and officiated by Rev. Michael Grigsby.
