Philip Lee Bryant was born May 1, 1905, in Village, Richmond County, Virginia, and died July 16, 1996, in Warsaw, Richmond County, Virginia.
He was a memeber of Totuskey Baptist Church, his entire life. Philip married Ida Bradshaw on June 15, 1931 in his parent's home, Village, Richmond County, Virginia.
They lived near Village, on the farm, that his father once owned. Philip was a farmer.
He was the son of Northam Lee Bryant and Virginia Blanche Thrift.
From his marriage to Ida, there were two sons.

Philip Lee Bryant, age 91, of Farnham, died July 16, 1996 in Warsaw Health Care Center. He was the widower of Ida Bradshaw Bryant, a member of Totuskey Baptist Church, Haynesville, and a retired farmer. Surviving are two sons, Wilmont P. Bryant of Haynesville and Leonard L. Bryant of Woodbridge; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert and Clinton Bryant, both of Hopewell. Funeral services were held July 18, at Totuskey Baptist Church, Haynesville with Rev. James W. Dunn officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Lawrence Packett, Garland Packett, Mitchell Packett, Dandridge Sydnor, Donald Rose and Johnny Bryant.
