Nancy was a beloved wife, mother, teacher and friend. Those who knew her well will remember her childlike awe of nature and her great love for birds and butterflies. She enjoyed trips to the beach, coffee ice cream, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Andrew Bruce of Lakeland, and their children, Karen and David.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 24 at Christ United Methodist Church in Lakeland, with the Reverend Armando Rodriguez officiating. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall. Condolences may be sent to the family at
