Mrs. Nora Ellen Chandler, 65, wife of John Chandler, died at 2 p. m. July 20 at her home on the Levee road following a heart attack she suffered the night of July 19. A native of Bath County, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Shultz Highley and a member of the Church of God.

Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Friday at the residence with burial in Machpelah cemetery.
