The son of Gus Joseph Swartz and Bernice Margaret Ditter Swartz, Joseph was an allied member of John and Betty More's David line. He was raised at San Diego, California; Wilman, California; and, Sacramento, California where his father was a structural engineer with the United States Corps of Engineers. Joseph and his twin brother attended El Camino High School at Sacramento. Joseph married first to Raymonde L. Lespayandel and they made their home first at Citrus Heights, California. They relocated to Sacramento about 1967 where he was a home insurance underwriter. The marriage ended in divorce in June 1977. Joseph married next to JMA#882212 on 25 May 1985 at California. They made their home at Lincoln, California. There is no record of Joseph having children. I found no record of Joseph having served in the military but his grave marker indicates he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war era.
