Levi M. Ridenour, 64, 362 East Hill Street,died of a heart attack which occurred at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the home of a son, Gordon, Wabash R.R.3. Mr. Ridenour, reportedly doing cement work at the son's home, was found dead in the garage.
A lifetime resident of Wabash County. Mr. Ridenour was born here Feb. 6, 1893, to Jonathan and Emma (Malott)Ridenour,His marriage June. 3, 1914 in Wabash was to Mary Dunphy who survives.
Mr.Ridenour was engaged in farming until 13 years ago when he moved to Wabash. He was employed by Minneapolis-Honey-Well Regulator Company.
Also surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Wilbur (Ruth)White,Lagro; Mrs. Wilbur (Mary) Meyer, Dolton,IL,; Mrs. Florence Beamer,Elkart; Mrs. Herschel (Ruby) Wagoner, Lincolnville; Mrs. James (anna)Brooks, Wabash R.R.2; Mrs. Arol (Ethel) Frantz, Spenard, AK; and Mrs. Benjamin (Edith) Brooks, Wabash; one sister, Mrs. Versel Richards, Peru; two brothers, Myron Ridenour, Peru; and Howard Ridenour, Pacalma, CA; and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hoover-Miner Funeral Home with Dr. W.W. Wimberly officiating. Burial will be in the Friens Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Music was provided by Mrs. Donald S. Brown, Organist.
Pallbearers were Wilbur White,Wilbur Meyer,Herschel Wagoner,James Brooks,Ben Brooks and Gordon Ridenour.
