Robert J. Rose, 61, of Beulah died Sunday night at a local hospital. Mr. Rose was a native of North Carolina but had resided at Pensacola for the past 39 years. He was a veteran of World War II and was employed by the Escambia County Road Department for many years. He was a member of the Pantego N. C. Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Hurst Rose of Beulah; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Robert Merrill of Beulah; two grandchildren; a sister Adelaide Eggabroad of Washington, N. C.; two brothers, Benjamin and Bill Rose of Pantego, N. C. Burial at the Beulah Cemetery.
