"Mary Elizabeth A'Harrah, 77, of Mount Jewett, died Friday evening, 15 Dec. 1989 at her
residence. She was born 20 Jan. 1912 in White Sulphur Springs, W. Va., daughter of the late Robert D.
and Birdie Henrietta Reiter Stroup. She was married 9 Oct. 1935 in Warren to Ellsworth L. A'Harrah who
survives. She had been employed for many years as a registered nurse at the Warren State Hospital.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Mary Ann Burggraf of Mount Jewett, and
Beverly Chamberlain of Pittsburgh: two brothers, Daniel Stroup of Irvine and George Stroup of Tampa,
Fla.; three sisters, Mildred Christjohn of Kane, Ida Wickwire of Galapolis, Ohio, and Isabelle Kifer of
Warren; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews......Burial will be in the McKean
Memorial Park, Lafayette, McKean County
