Donald McKenzie Bain died at the age of 84yrs.∼4/15/1904 - Atlanta Constitution - The funeral of Donald Bain, who died Wednesday at the Confederate Soldiers' Home, occurred yesterday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted at 3 o'clock at the undertaking parlors of Hilburn & Poole, by Rev. J. H. Mashburn, pastor of the Walker Street Methodist Church. The interment was in Oakland Cemetery (error, Westview Cemetery), Constitution - 4/14/1904, Page 3.
Civil War - Enlisted 3/4/1862 as Private. Rose to rank of Sergeant Major - 18th Batt. Mil. Calvary, Reft. G. Surrendered at Kingston, Georgia on 5/12/1865.
