Abstract--Lester Valentine Rhodes, 72, of Tunnelton, died Oct. 21, at his home. He was born Feb. 15, 1909, at Campground, s/o the late Austin and Anna Wright Rhodes. He was a self-employed truck driver for over 36 years and owner and operated Rhodes Camper Sales. Surviving are his wife, Hilda Weaver Rhodes; five sons, Carl L. and Perry W. Rhodes, both of Tunnelton, Glenn H. Rhodes of Parkersburg, Ronald B. and Dwight L. Rhodes, both of Mineral Wells; two daughters, Karen Zinn and Martha Rosier, both of Tunnelton. He was preceded in death by one son, two daughters, three brothers and one sister. Burial was in the Rhodes Cemetery.
