Stephen Wood Smith, son of Samuel & Sallie (Good or Wood) Smith, married Nancy Catherine Weems, dau of William & Mary (Edwards) Weems.
Children of Stephen & Nancy:

3. Sarah Catherine b. 1830
4. Nancy Jane b. 1832
5. Stephen Dennison b. 1834

Cause of Death: 8 Jun 1840* at Carrollville, Tishomingo Co., MS, William Ira Weems, Benjamin Reynolds, Alexander Dugger who married Reynold's daughter, Catherine, STEPHEN W. SMITH- husband of Nancy Weems, and Stephen A. Hale were involved in a shooting incident in which SMITH was killed.
