Mrs. Edna Fay Hollingsworth Sweat, 90 of Raiford died Thursday at Lake Butler Hospital. Mrs. Sweat was born in Raiford where she lived most of her life. She was a homemaker and former telephone operator with the Florida Department of Corrections before her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Raiford. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Martha (Gunter) Hollingsworth.
Mrs. Sweat is survived by: Her husband of 71 years: Mack A. Sweat of Raiford, 2 Daughters: Bobbie Faye Sweat (Ronnie) McClellan of Vidalia, Georgia and Patricia Sweat Tyler of Raiford, 5 Grandchildren: Darren McClellan, Paul McClellan, Thomas Shane Tyler, Sterling Paige Tyler and Brad Tyler, 5 Great grandchildren: Justin Tyler, Talon Tyler, Dawson Tyler, Taylor McClellan and Carson McClellan.
Mrs. Edna is proceeded in death by her parents and all her siblings.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 17, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler with officiating. Burial will follow at Sapp Cemetery in Raiford. Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at Archer Funeral Home Sunday evening from 6P.M. to 8P.M.
