Son of Marshall and Edna Slye. Father of Pat Slye, Shirley May Slye, Barbara (Wagner)(Coleman) and Edna Louise (Marlowe). He and Louise picked up a hitchhiking sailor and then a tire went flat. Wayne died of a heart attack while changing the tire. The sailor helped Louise until assistance arrived.
