Chico Enterprise, Monday, February 10, 1930: "Bradford Child Called By Death. Perry Ray Bradford, eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bradford, died yesterday morning at 5 o'clock in the family home at Dayton after several days' illness. He is survived by his parents and several brothers and sisters, Mahlon, Viola and Esther Bradford, Mrs. Ethel Snowden of Nelson, Mrs. Nancy Cole of Durham, Arthur and Henry Bradford of Los Angeles and Ernest Bradford Chico. Graveside services were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Dayton cemetery with the Rev. J.T. Black of Durham officiating. Bicknell & Moore had charge of arrangements.
