Mr. Lantz was born in Arkansas. He was a retired farmer and member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lantz; four sons, Edward Lantz of Lynn, Lavon Lantz of Keyes, CA, John L. Lantz of Grover City, CA, and James Lantz of Modesto, CA; four daughters, Vada Thomas of Redford, MI, Pauline Anderson of Stafford, TX, Melverine Croom of Jonesboro and Ruth Ann Creekmore of Memphis; a brother, Will Lantz of Kennett, MO; a half sister, Arlie Adams of Hoxie; and several grandchildren and great grand children.
Funeral was Sunday afternoon at 1:00 in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial was in Dry Creek Cemetery under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service.
