MRS. DUKE DIES
Mrs. Nellie Catherine Duke, age 55, died at 6:20 p.m. February 1, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Opal McPhail of Fort Worth.
Other survivors are her husband, Roger Duke of Grapevine; one daughter, Mrs. Frank Forshee of Grapevine; three sons, James of Fort Worth, Fred of Dallas, and Albert of Grapevine; two sisters, Mrs. Charlie Yoachum of Borger, Mrs. Callie Browder of Grapevine; two brothers, Ed Glenn of Winters, and W.A. Glenn of Childress, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Grapevine Baptist Church with Rev. Leon P. Woods officiating. Burial was in Gainesville under direction of J.T. Lucas Funeral Home.Note: Buried in Fairview Cemetery.
