Ray graded lumber for a Plywood Mill in Oregon. He attended Southern Heights Baptist Church in Berryville. He was a veteran, having served our country with the United States Army during World War II.
On April 27, 1946, he was united in marriage with Geraldine (Horton) Nash who survives him of the home. He is also survived by three sons, Max Nash of Hornlake, Mississippi, John Nash of Berryville, and Randy Nash of Ephrata, Washington; four brothers, Duncan Nash of Little Rock, Arkansas, Charles Nash of Fordyce, Arkansas, Bob Nash of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Hollis Nash of Beardon, Arkansas; one sister, Dorothy Banes Lloyd of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.P. and Bessie Nash; five brothers; and one sister.
