Nellie Aladits, 80, of 170 S. West Street, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 17th, 1993 in Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
She was born May 21, 1913 in Ringsted Iowa, the daughter of William and Gertude Flier Knutson. She married Clifford Brown. He died in 1930.
Surviving are a son, Charles W. Brown of Galesburg, a sister, Elizabeth Fields of Worthington MN, and 3 grandchildren.
She owned and operated Nellies Steak House in Knoxville for several years, and was a member of First Lutheran Church.
Funeral commenced at 1:30 p.m. at Hinchliff Pearson West Funeral Home, with the Rev. Arnold Thoren officiating. Burial in East Linwood Cemetery.
