One of our beloved classmates at Hayesville High School. Virgina was born, raised and lived and worked here in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee. She was the daughter of Howard(Buck) Martin and Thelma Irene Auberry Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Lee Davenport in 1997. She is survived by her brother, David Lane Martin and his wife Jo of Midway, TN., niece Nikeema Arrington and nephew Eddie Arrington both of Midway, Tennessee.
Virginia was laid to rest in the beautiful Union Hill Cemetery in Clay County North Carolina. She will always live in the memories of her classmates and the many others that loved her.
