Mrs. Lois M. Adcock, 85, passed away Friday, October 31, 2008, at her home surrounded by family and friends.
Lois was born December 17, 1922, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, to the late Roy and Charlotte Wolfe. She served with the Women's Army Corps (WAC) during World War II, where she evaluated bomber crews for accuracy during their training in Oklahoma.
During her marriage to the late Ovid B. Adcock (USAF), their travels took them to many locations throughout the USA and England. Latter in life, she resided in Rapid City, S.D. and finally settled in Reidsville, N.C.
In addition to her parents, sister, Jane Howes of Rapid City, S.D., preceded Lois in death.
Surviving are her loving children, Robert Adcock, and wife, Carolyn of Reidsville, N.C., David W. Adcock of Albany, Ga., Beverly Branning of Sarasota, Fla., Michael Adcock and wife, Barbara of McLeansville, N.C., Cathy Morgan of Sanford, N.C., Gerald (Tiny) Adcock and wife, Kristie of Tipton, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren.
