Loy J. Surber, of Pindall, was born Sept. 23, 1924, at Pindall, a son of James Wesley and Millie Lee (Smith) Surber. He died Friday, Oct. 24 (2008) at Ozark, at the age of 84.
He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
He is survived by one brother, Richard Surber of Pindall; two sisters, Goldie Lewis of Harrison and Lola Nichols of Pindall; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Kilburn Cemetery, near Pindall, with Brother Dennis Sisco officiating. Pallbearers include Kyle Sisco, Steve Hensley, Billy Wyatt, Allan Wyatt, Clint Morris and Rodney Smith. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, at Holt Memorial Chapel.
