WALNUT – James Edward Adams, 59, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at the North Miss. Medical Center in Tupelo. He was retired from the Army with a honorable discharge and attended Line Street Consolidated School of Ripley. He enjoyed fishing, having fun and he loved his family. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Piney Grove M.B. Church with the Rev. Bobby Geanes officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth National Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include two sons, Terrell Malone and Kelvin Malone (Celia) all of Montgomery, Ala.; two daughters, Lisa Malone Rentz (David) of Montgomery, Ala., and Tracy Eldridge (Stephen) of Atlanta; one brother, Clifford Adams (Michelle) of St. Louis, Mo.; three sisters, Peggie Greene of Walnut, Dyrisa Johnson (Richard) and Anita Marie Blake, all of Tiplersville; his grandchildren, Tlyssa Malone, Dashauri Rentz, Faquara Malone, Markeese Malone, all of Montgomery, Ala., Aniya Eldridge, Alayisa Eldridge of Conyers, Ga. He was preceded in death by his father, D.L. Adams; and his mother, Edith Mae Geanes. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today. (Copied from the Daily Journal dated December 30 2007)
