Fred L. Atchley, Sr., 95, of Maryville, TN, passed away Friday, January 4, 2008.
He was born in Kodak, Tennessee to the late Ben & Hannah Atchley, but had lived most of his life in Rockford, Tennessee.
He was a Navy Veteran of WWII, having served on the USS Wyoming and was employed with TVA for more than 28 years.
Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Fred & Jane Atchley, Jr. of Rockford, TN; daughter & son-in-law, Mary Ellen & Raymond Ramsey of Louisville, TN; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
