Haley "Bill" Abbott, age 84, of Inola, Okla. went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 25,2000. He was born May 24, 1916 in Tamaha Ok. to William and Alva (Hatfield) Abbott. On June 6, 1949, he married his wife, Ruth Irene ( Ferrell) Abbott. He retired as a Truck Driver with LeeWay Motor Freight in 1976. Bill was also a member of Willeo Baptist Church in Inola. He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Jean Abbott Milsop, his parents, four brothers and one sister. Bill is survived by his loving wife Ruth of 51 years. Grandchildren: Wayne, and Kelly Jean Judd, Jana Ragland, Ali McCord: & 7 great-grandchildren; 3 nephews, 1 niece and one sister-in-law. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Francis Hospice. Services for Bill will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, with interment to follow in the Garden of Serenity.
