Funeral service for Faye Blackerby Bearden, age 65, of Chelsea, will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 3, 2007, at Bolton Letlow Chapel with Rev. Roland Foster officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, December 2, 2007 from 6 to 8 PM at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bearden, who passed away on Friday, November 30, 2007 at her daughters' home, was born on March 31, 1942 in Shelby County. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Hershel Bearden and a son, Michael Bearden. Loved by all she is survived by her daughters, Melissa Bearden of Homewood, Rachel B. Kimbell of Chelsea, Lori Champion of Chelsea; a devoted son-in-law, Steve Champion; her grandchildren, Haven, Michaela and Drayton Champion, Hershel Kelan Kimbell; her loving caregivers Doreen Evans and Darlene Wallace of Birmingham and a host of other family and friends.
