Susan Annette Schrader was born on May 28, 1958 at the Northwoods Hospital in Phelps, Wisconsin, to Albert & Yvonne Schrader of Watersmeet, Michigan. She was their first born child. She was later joined by a brother Albert Jr., sister Evelyn & brother David. She grew up and attended school in Watersmeet, Michigan. Susan was like a little mother hen with her younger siblings, always watching over and babysitting them. On Dec 6, 1980 she married Gene Clark in Eagle River, Wisconsin. She was a lovely bride as you can see in the picture above. They later divorced. On July 22, 1983 she married Dennis Charbarneau in Bessemer, Michigan. They lived in Iron River, Michigan for several years and Susan often went on the road with Dennis during his truck driving years. Previous years Susan was always a caregiver, working at local nursing homes and gently caring for those who needed love and attention. She never had any children in either marriage. She and Dennis also divorced after several years but remained friends. He was at her funeral services when she passed away on January 25, 2008 with complications from emphazema. Susan's dad Albert, was also a victim of emphazema, the consequences in both, from too many years of smoking. Susan lived in Eagle River, Wisconsin at the time of her death. Sadly, she died alone in a rented home and was not found until the next day. She was only 49. Susan is survived by her sister Evelyn (Blaine)Mansfield of North Land O' Lakes, Wi., her two brothers Albert Jr.(Diane) & David (special friend Debbie)all of Watersmeet. She is also survived by her paternal uncle Elmer Schrader (Laura) of Gaastra, Mi., neices, Vicki & Angela, nephews, Henry, Dustin and Alan, as well as four paternal cousins. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her maternal great grandmother, Florence Zieman in 1961, her paternal grandparents, Charles August Schrader in 1970 and Tryphona Livinia Race Schrader in 1955, Aunt Florence Louise Schrader Tuttle in 1990, Uncle Kenneth Carl Schrader in 2005 and Aunt Gladys Freida Schrader Spargo in 2006. Also preceded in death by cousins Walter Charles Tuttle in 1994, Roger Lee Spargo in 2000 and Randy Scott Hall in 2003. Funeral services were held at the Gaffney Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River, Wi. on Jan. 30, 2008. After the services her remains were cremated and given to the family. I do not know if her ashes were buried. Susan is loved and missed by her family and friends.

I RECENTLY FOUND THAT SUSAN'S SISTER EVELYN HAS HER ASHES AND THEY HAVE NOT BEEN BURIED.

AFTERGLOW

I'd like the memory of me
To be a happy one. I'd like
to leave an Afterglow of
Smiles when day is done.
I'd like to leave an echo...
Whispering softly down the
Ways of happy times and
Laughing times and bright
And sunny days. I'd like
The tears of those who
Grieve to dry before the
Sun of happy memories
That I leave behind when
Day is done.
