Warren Eric Alford, 50, of Homosassa, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008,at Hospice House of Lecanto.
Born Aug. 10, 1958, in Fairbanks, Alaska, and moved to
Brooksville, Fla., in 1963. He was a graduate of Hernando High and received a Master Degree in Biology while serving in the U.S. Air Force.
Eric was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Desert Storm and Iraq, and retired after 20 years of service with the Air Force with the rank of Master Sergeant.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tami Lynn Alford, and
brother Edward Stearns.
He is survived by his mother, Joanne Alford of Chassahowitzka, FL;
father George E. Alford of Lake City, FL; brother David Alford and wife Suzanne of Brooksville; 3 sisters Karen Mathews of Greensboro, NC, Bobbie Lewie and husband Chuck of Homosassa and Mary Ann Wilson of Brooksville; nieces and nephews,Josh Drum and wife Rhonda, Cari Hobbs and husband Ron, Emily Alford, Robert Mathews and Veronica Wilson; great nephews and great niece, Aaron, Kyle and Alexis Hobbs; best friends Bret and Kathy Ibsen.
