he had been a patient three weeks.
Born in Frederick County, the
son of William and Margaret
Keeney Hape, he had been in failing
health for four and a half years.
Mr. Hape had farmed in both
Frederick and Carroll counties and
moved to Walkersville about 16
years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Lovie Van Fossen Hape: three
daughters. Mrs. Harry Young,
LeGore: Mrs. Alice Clem. Taneytown;
Mrs. Ward Crum, Walkersville:
seven grandchildren and
ten great grandchildren.
