Corinne married WILLIAM HENRY WRIGHT..
THEY HAD 4 children WILLIAM SORELLE, DORTHY DOUGLAS, KENNETH KING,AND CORINNE KING WRIGHT.
CORINNE in 1868 when she was 6 weeks old she and her parents sailed around Cape Horn to California.
They settled in San Gabriel and in 1889 Corinne became a primary school teacher.
She founded the San Gabriel womens club in 1913 and in 1933 she lead the fight to save the old adobes and the historic pepper trees of San Gabriel.
In 1934 she authored "Saul of Tarsus". that was preformed at the Mission Playhouse in San Gabriel.
In 1934 she wrote a book "COLD EMBERS"
In 1914 Corinne was accepted by The United Daughters Of The Confederacy and in 1942 by The Daughters of The American Colonist, She was also an artist and painted many pictures of old California.
