Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Allen Vandiver, 82, Danville Road, will be held Saturday at 2 P.M. at the Summit Baptist church (on the Danville Road).
Rev. Fred Schlosser, Rev. Austin Self and Rev. Cabe Smith will conduct the rites with interment to follow in the Basham cemetery, Mutual-Service directing.
Mrs. Vandiver died this morning at approximately 2 o'clock at her residence.
Survivors include four sons, James and Clyde Vandiver, both of Hartselle; Franklin Vandiver, Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Russell Vandiver, Kalamazoo, Michigan; four daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Bradford, Michigan; Mrs. Gertrude Long, Chicago; Mrs. Mollie Washburn, Landersville, Alabama; and Mrs. Leona Sparkman, Hartselle; two sisters, Mrs. Sue Lamon, and Mrs. Lizzie Baker, both of Hartselle; a brother, W.M. Brothers, Hartselle; 36 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Newphews will serve as pallbearers.
The deceased was a member of the Baptist church.
